I do not answer the 'phone when I am working but, if you
leave a message I will get back to you and we can arrange an appointment. At
the introductory session we will discuss what brings you to therapy and what
your hopes and expectations are, and we will discuss times and fees. Sessions
are usually at the same time every week, are fifty minutes long and after the
initial session, if you should choose to go ahead, I ask for an initial commitment
of six sessions. The introductory session and missed sessions are charged at
the full rate unless I receive forty-eight hours notice of cancellation. If you do not wish to proceed I will try to assist you
by referring you to other services that may be available. Sessions are strictly confidential although if I have serious
concerns about your own or another's safety I am required by the
relevant codes of conduct to inform your GP or relevant authority. This is extremely
rare and if I thought it necessary I would make every effort to discuss
with you first why I thought I needed to take this action. Were you at any time to have concerns about how I
practice you should inform the accrediting bodies. |
